A rare victory in a new fixture against Nocturns

With Vice Captain Gurney elevated to Captain, the game took the pressure on the chin (read: glass jaw) and chipped out for 4. Fortunately Talbs and Sutton found form, to ensure that Sutton had enough room for manoeuvre to bowl at the death, actually containing them to win by one run. It could have all gone the other way had Courtauld not found form after being hit for two sixes and a four in his first over … or was is just good fortune that the batsman retired?
