On a glorious day, 24 of West Norfolk’s finest took on the challenge of the links at Hunstanton in the Spring Meeting of WNCC. The cricketing talent on show included England all rounder Peter Parfitt, Norfolk batsman Crow Goodley and Jonathon Agnew’s Uppingham bowling partner Nic Pull. Stableford scores ranged from a slightly embarrassing 23 upto a very good 37 returned by Jim Major and James Ringer, which earned them the coveted WNCC winners polo shirts. A good and somewhat liquid lunch reduced numbers to 15 in the afternoon, but the weather stayed fine and an enjoyable day was had by all. The Autumn Meeting will be at Brancaster on 27th November.
